Covid-19 measures

At Paradise Flamingo Beach, the safety of our guests is our top priority. We work daily to guarantee all hygiene and safety measures, with updated protocols.

We have also adapted our activities and facilities to comply with regulatory anti-Covid-19 measures, in accordance with our local health authorities.

AntiCovid-19 measures for our guests:

  • Our staff greets without physical contact and with the established distancing measures
  • We have put extreme precautions in place in the registration protocol, room key delivery, payments and other services, to avoid any physical contact
  • In addition, all luggage is disinfected upon arrival.
  • Information on Paradise Flamingo Beach activities, tours and other services is provided
  • We have disinfection points with hydroalcoholic gel in all common areas
  • Lodge information is delivered in digital format to our guests (tour information, Lodge directory, spa services, etc).

AntiCovid-19 measures for our staff:

  • All our staff put into practice on a daily basis a meticulous safety and hygiene protocol that includes: hand hygiene with adequate and frequent hand washing, etc.
  • In addition, our staff is completely updated on health and hygiene measures and protocols.
  • All staff and guests must maintain a distance of 6 feet (1.8 meters). When this is not possible, the use of protective equipment will be required.
  • We constantly monitor the health of general cleaning equipment.
  • We have launched an internal protocol that regulates the use of masks, frequent and proactive temperature checks, and a disinfection process for all staff members entering the work facility.
  • We are carefully monitoring any symptoms related to COVID-19 on a daily basis. If there is the slightest suspicion of the virus, he / she will be sent for the necessary tests immediately and the health protocol will be applied.
  • All staff must respond and report to health officials, when in doubt about the presence of COVID-19 symptoms, including guests and any other third parties.

Public areas:

  • Use of cleaning products and specific protocols to sanitize and disinfect public areas, especially in areas where there is high physical contact, such as counters, reception, door handles, public bathrooms, room keys, common passage areas, etc. …
  • All deliveries are disinfected upon arrival.
  • The entire area and all the pool facilities (showers, towels, etc.) are disinfected and cleaned several times during use.
  • The use of these facilities will be limited to small groups, maintaining physical distance at all times.

Rooms:

  • Implementation of strict cleaning and disinfection protocols in the rooms, before the arrival of the guests and after their departure.
  • All deliveries are disinfected upon arrival.
  • We assure our guests that after cleaning and disinfecting the rooms, no one will enter or use the room.

Work areas:

  • In the spaces where our staff works, we have increased the frequency of cleaning all high-contact areas, such as the laundry, changing rooms, staff offices, etc …
  • We have updated our laundry protocols to meet CDC guidelines using recommended detergents and high temperatures.
  • All staff members have access to products for hand washing and disinfection, general disinfection and protective equipment before performing their duties at the Hotel.

Transport:

  • All transfers are private and all drivers wear protective gear.
  • All vehicles are disinfected between each trip.
  • The vehicles have alcohol gel.

Restaurant:

  • All meals are served à la carte and focus on the freshness of the food.
  • Safe food handling.
  • Culinary staff trained in food preparation.
  • Hygiene protocols have been reinforced.
  • The restaurant has spaced the tables to practice the required physical distancing.
  • Menus are available in the rooms.
  • Meals are served in open areas.
  • Tables and chairs are disinfected after each use.

Activities and other services:

  • An informative session is offered to all guests with health and safety measures before each activity.
  • All tours and activities are offered in a private format, whenever possible.
  • For small group activities, safe distancing has been implemented between participants and staff.
  • All equipment is disinfected after each use.
  • External providers, tour operators and other service providers must comply with Paradise Flamingo Beach’s hygiene standards.
  • Disinfection of high-touch surfaces, the use of masks and other measures have been implemented for any additional services required.
  • In the Massage Area, all instruments, towels and bedding are disinfected after each use.
